Junior Four take the lead in the Championship

After a difficult start to the season, with two sinkings, and some bad luck, the Junior Four crew have started to put together a run of good form, taking three wins in two weeks, to add to their early season win at Christchurch.  Close racing against fellow championship contenders Southampton in the last few weeks have seen Newport turn the tables on the early season leaders.  They now need to clinch the championship by winning one of the final two regattas, one of which is on their home water on the River Medina.
